Second Temple Judaism offered the Cinema a number of interesting subjects. Mainly about Christian Origins, that is, movies about events told in the Gospels, dealing with the Life of Jesus, or the Nativity of Jesus or the Passion of Jesus, or other characters associated with Jesus (such as Mary of Nazareth, Mary Magdalene, Judas Iscariot, Caiaphas, Pilate, etc.). More rarely we have movies about other Jewish characters (Ben-Hur, Salome) or events of the time (Siege of Masada), or adaptations of novels dealing with the development of the early Christian movement after the death of Jesus (Quo Vadis?, The Sign of the Cross, The Last Days of Pompeii, The Robe).

Cinema is a category of fictional works, including films, documentaries, animations, etc.
