Chet Allen (1939-1984) -- American singer and actor.

Allen was a child actor and a boy soprano, member of Columbus Boychoir, located at Princeton, NJ. At the age of 12, he created the title role in Amahl and the Night Visitors (1951 Menotti), opera. He was personally selected and trained by composer Gian Carlo Menotti for the world premiere of the opera, which was broadcast live on television on 24 December 1951.
