Stacia Napierkowska

Stacia Napierkowska (1886-1945) was a French actress and dancer. Born in Paris, she was a celebrated silent movie star, who specialized in exotic, Oriental roles. She played Salome three times, in 1908, 1916 and 1926. She was the protagonist of Le festin de Balthazar (1910) and Esther (1913). She died in Paris in 1945 (aged 58).
