The Canadians are the multi-ethnic citizens of Canada. Aside from the indigenous population, most Canadians or their ancestors came from other countries (mainly France, and England) within the past five centuries, as a result of immigration. They primarily speak the English language and the French language. Most Canadians today live within the borders of independent Canada.
