Yvonne De Carlo

Yvonne De Carlo (1922-2007) was a Canadian-American actress. She took part in several biblical movies, in leading roles. In Salome, Where She Danced (1945) she played an Austrian refugee who performed Salome in a remote Arizona town. She was Zipporah, the wife of Moses, in the blockbuster The Ten Commandments (1956), directed by Cecil B. DeMille. Finally, as Mary Magdalene she was the protagonist of La spada e la croce (1958).
