The Street of the Gazelle (1922) is a novel by Dulcie Deamer.
Abstract
Focuses on the movement of the Zealots. Jesus’ crucifixion is dimly suggested, not described, at the end of the volume. Second novel set in Jerusalem at the time of Jesus, by eccentric Australian novelist, poet, journalist and actress. Preceded by Revelation (1921 Deamer), novel.
