Giuda <Italian> / Judas (1911) is a short film (silent, B&W, 8m), written and directed by Arrigo Frusta.

Abstract

A story focusing on the Betrayal of Judas.

The courtesan Priscilla sends a servant to invite Jesus into her home, but he refuses. Deeply offended, the woman seduces Judas and convinces him to betray the master and deliver him to the soldiers. But when she sees Christ exhausted on the way to Golgotha, the woman repents and curses Judas, who has come to collect the due. Desperate, Judas disappears in the night to seek death.
