History of Research (2000s) -- Notes

Numerous international conferences were held in the 2000s. The International Organization for Qumran Studies met three times: in Basel, Switzerland (5-7 August 2001); in Groningen, Netherlands (July 25-28, 2004); and in Ljubljana, Slovenia (July 16-18, 2007). The Orion Center organized 8 international Symposia at Jerusalem (2000, 2001, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2007, 2008). The second Enoch Seminar (Venice 2003) was devoted to the influence of Enochic traditions on Qumran origins.
