Orion Center for the Study of the Dead Sea Scrolls (1995-), learned society
The Orion Center for the Study of the Dead Sea Scrolls and Associated Literature (1995-) is a research Center, aimed to "stimulate and foster research on the Dead Sea Scrolls, particularly the great task of integrating the new information gained from the Scrolls into the body of knowledge about Jewish history and religion in the Second Temple period."

History
The Orion Center was established in 1995 as part of the Institute for Jewish Studies at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. The Center organizes international conferences. Its website provides many resources for the study of the Scrolls, as well as information about the Center's activities and programs.
