Joseph Hirt (M / Poland, 1930), Holocaust survivor

Biography

Joseph Hirt (10 Jul 30) and Michael Hirt (19 Feb 34) were born in Poland (?), to Artur and Amalia. They fled to Dalmatia, where they were detained in Susak (1941-42). In Jan 1943 they were sent to Rapino, Chieti. They were in hiding after Nov 1943. In July 1944 the family sailed from Naples to Fort Ontario [CDEC!]
