Richard Dattner (M / Poland, 1937), Holocaust survivor

Biography

Richard Dattner was born in Bielsko, Poland in 1937, but left occupied Poland with his parents in 1940. They arrived in Genoa, Italy. From there they were sent to Ferramonti, where they were liberated by the Allies on September 14, 1943. Then he went to Cuba, and eventually settled in the United States, where he became a famous architect.
