Biography
Liesl Bader was born August 8, 1931 in Vienna, Austria, to Karl Bader and Magdalene Neumann. The family arrived in Italy as refugees from Ljubljana, Slovenia. They were at Ferramonti from July 31, 1941 until liberation (Sept 1943). In July 1944, father, mother and daughter sailed to Fort Ontario, United States.
