Jenny Baruch (F / Bosnia, 1926), Holocaust survivor
Biography
Jenny Baruch (14 Oct 1926 [1928]) was born in Marseille, France, to Isach Baruch and Eva Braun. The family (father, mother, and two daugthers) fled to Spalato, Dalmatia. From there, in December 1941 they were transferred as civilian internees to Aosta (loc. San Vincenzo della Fonte) until March 1943 and then to Ferramonti where they remained until Liberation in Sep 1943. In July 1944 they sailed from Naples to Fort Ontario, United States.
