Biography
Aronne Amoday was born May 8, 1926 in Belgrade, Serbia, Yugoslavia. Aronne, Haim and Bencion were the children of Josip Amoday and Sarina Aroesti. The family fled to Montenegro. In July 1941 they were imprisoned in Albania at Kavaja. In October 1941 they were interned at Ferramonti and then in July 1942 at L'Aquila (loc. Pizzoli). They went into hiding after Sept 8, 1943. They resurfaced in Rome after liberation in August 1944.
