Lierka Blau (F / Croatia, 1926), Holocaust survivor

Biography

Lierka Blau (1 Jan 1926) was born in Zagreb, Croatia, to Isidoro Blau and Blazika Schajer. The family fled to Ljubljana, Slovenia (then under italian occupation). From there they were sent as civilian internees to Sondrio (loc. Aprica). On 19 Oct 1943 they managed to escape to Switzerland.
