Biography

Giorgio Abeasis (Feb 4, 1923), Ester Abeasis (Oct 10, 1926), Renato Abeasis (Sept 20, 1928), and Rebecca Abeasis (Dec 2, 1931), the children of Clemente Abeasis and Rachele Hassan, were born at Tripoli, Libya. The entire family were interned in Italy at Civitella del Tronto in March 1942, sent to Fossoli (4 May 1944) and from there deported to Bergen-Belsen.

Rebecca Abeasis, figlia di Clemente Abeasis e Rachele Hassan è nata in Libia a Tripoli il 2 dicembre 1931. Arrestata a Civitella del Tronto (Teramo). Deportata da Fossoli nel campo di concentramento di Bergen Belsen nel maggio 1944. È sopravvissuta alla Shoah. Liberata il 1 maggio 1945.
