Sever Sternhell (M / Poland, Hungary, 1930), Holocaust survivor

Biography

Sever Sternhell was born May 30, 1930 in Lwow, Poland, to Samson Sternhell, a lawyer. He was aboard the Kastner Train, arriving in Switzerland in December 1944 after a few months at Bergen-Belsen, After the Was he emigrated to Australia where he became a professor of Chemistry at the University of Sydney, and a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Science.
