Riccardo Ehrman (F / Italy, 1929), Holocaust survivor.

Biography

Riccardo Ehrman was born Nov 4, 1929 to a Jewish-Polish family. In 1942 he was interned with his family at Ferramonti, where they remained until liberation in September 1943. He became a journalist. On 9 November 1989, his question at a government press conference in the former East Germany is said to have precipitated the end of the Berlin Wall.
