El discípulo: Jesús, la historia no revelada <Spanish> / The Disciple: Jesus' Uncovered Story (2010) is a film written and directed by Emilio Ruiz Barrachina.

Abstract

After the death of his father and the murder of John the Baptist, Jesus takes the leadership of a group of Zealots to announce the coming of the Kingdom of Heaven, which would result in the expulsion of the Romans. The film tells the story of a human Jesus who devoid of any deity and surprised by an impossible love, dies on the cross charged with sedition.
