Biography
Rachel (Rachele) Frajerman (or Frajermann) was born September 28, 1938 in Milan, Italy, to a Polish family (Isaak Frajerman and Chaia Ruola Kelinzhaler). The parents had arrived as refugees in Milan, where Rachel and Salomon were born. They were at Nizza Monferrato (near Asti) in 1941 (where Jacob was born) and then in Ferramonti from May 1943 to liberation (Sept 1943). In July 1944 the family (father, mother and the three siblings) sailed to Fort Ontario, United States.
