The Illumination (1912) is a short film (silent, B&W), directed by Charles L. Gaskill.
Abstract
Tells the story of how Jesus affected the lives of two people (and their wives): Joseph, a young Jewish man, and Maximums, a centurion in the Roman army. Jesus is shown only as a light moving across the faces of onlookers. Starring Helen Gardner (Sabina), Rosemary Theby (Ruth), Harry Northrup (Maximus), Tom Powers (Joseph), and Wallace Reid (Centurion).
