Josephine Bähr (F / Italy, 1937), Holocaust survivor

Biography

Josephine Bähr was born August 6, 1937 in Rome, Italy, to German refugees George Bähr and Herminie Gelles. Father, mother, Josephine and sister Ingeborg (b.1921) was sent to KZ Bagnoregio on January 13, 1942 and to Ferramonti on January 26, 1943, where they remained until liberation (Sept 14, 1943). They were still in Ferramonti in November 1944.
