Biography
Dr. Sol Messinger was born in Berlin in 1932. Sol was aboard the MS St. Louis in an attempt to escape the Nazis. Sol and his family hid in France and were rescued by the Jewish Organization in 1942. Upon arrival to the United States on board of the Serpa Pinto (June 1942), they traveled to Buffalo where they had family.
