Biography

Maria Mühlstein was born on 31 March 1932. The father (Viktor Mühlstein, 1892-1934) had passed away a few years earlier.

In Teresin, Maria Mühlstein distinguished herself as one of the more talented young vocalists in the camp. She was part of the main cast of the opera Brundibar, where she played alternatively the roles of Aninka and the sparrow, while his brother Pintǎ Mühlstein was Pepiček.
