He Palaia kai he Kaine Diatheke = Vetus et Novum Testamentum (1857) is a book by Angelo Mai, edited by Carlo Vercellone.

Abstract

This edition of the Codex Vaticanus includes the Old and New Testament (and the OT Apocrypha) in Greek.

As the editor Carlo Vercellone recognized, Angelo Mai's work, which "had existed in type since 1838, but was not put forth till three years after the Cardinal's death in 1854," was far from being complete. Vercellone, with the assistance of Giuseppe Cozza-Luzi, began immediately the work of revision, which led to the publication of a new edition of Codex Vaticanus in 1868-1881. See Bibliorum Sacrorum graecus Codex vaticanus (1868-81 Vercellone, Cozza-Luzi), book.
