Biography
Walter Heinz Landmann was born January 23, 1927 in Munich, Germany, to Moses Landmann and Barbara Ecki. Refugees in Italy, in May 1940 they joined the Benghasi Group and went to Libya, hoping to sail to Palestine. From Lybia they were sent to Ferramonti in September 1940 and then to Arsiero (Vicenza) in September 1941. After Sept 1943, they managed to escape to Switzerland.
