Biography
Dimitri (10 May 1928), Sonia (11 Aug 1929), Peter (26 Oct 1930), and Gioconda (30 Jul 1935) Sommerburg (Sommeburg) were born in Hamburg, Germany. Father was arrested. Mother was artist Miriam Sommerburg (1900–1980). They fled to Italy with their mother. In July 1944 they sailed for Fort Ontario, United States.
