Biography
Pavao Blau (2 Jul 1938) was born in Zagreb, Croatia, to Rodolfo Blau and Matilde Gottlieb. The family fled to Ljubljana, Slovenia (the under Italian occupation). They were sent as civilian internees to Como (loc. Argegno) and Sondrio (loc. Aprica). After Sept 1943 they managed to escape to Switzerland.
