Maria von Magdala <German) / Mary of Magdala (1899) is a play by Paul von Heyse.
Abstract
Drama, in five acts, by celebrated German writer, Nobel Prize in literature in 1910. Jesus is never introduced upon the scene but his charismatic presence is conspicuous through its effects on Mary Magdalene, Judas Iscariot and the other characters, even before the beginning of the public ministry.
