Biography

Lea Bienenfeld (3 Nov 1928) and Enrico (Enrich) Bienenfeld (24 Aug 1932) were born at Pakrac, Croatia to Herman Bienenfeld and Anna Hirschl. Father, Mother and children fled to Slovenia (Ljubljana) (then under Italian occupation). From there they were transferred as civilian internees to Asti. In December 1941 they were at Montiglio and then at Montechiaro d'Asti in April-October 1943. They managed to escape to Switzerland in October 1943.
