Biography
Mirko (16 Jun 1922) and Ivana (16 Dec 1938) were born in Sarajevo, Bosnia, to Max Haler and Vally Goldstein. The family fled to Montenegro. In July 1941 tehy were imprisoned as refugees at Kavaja, Albania. In October 1941 they were sent to Ferramonti and then in December 1942 to Chieti (loc. Bomba), Italy. They survived in hiding from Sep 1943 until liberation. In August 1944 they were at DP Bari.
