Biography
Heinz Sinasohn (Henry Sinasohn, Henry Sinason, 26 Aug 1925) and Gunther Sinasohn (George Sinason, 29 Oct 1926) were born in Berlin, Germany,. As refugees in France, Gunther was among the unaccompanied children aboard the SS Mouzinho (August 1941), reaching the United States, while his brother Heinz fllowed him one month later on the SS Serpa Pinto (September 1941).
Their parents escaped to Shangai, China. The family was reunited only in 1947.
