Géza G. Xeravits (1971-2019) was a Hungarian scholar. PhD (2002) in Theology at the University of Groningen. 2002-2009: Professor at the Reformed Theological Academy (Pápa). 2009-2015: Professor and Chair at the Department of Bible, Sapientia College of Theology (Budapest). From 2015: Professor of Old Testament at Selye J. University (Komárno, Slovakia). Chair of the International Conference on the Deuterocanonical Books. Vice-president of the Hungarian Society of Hebraists (2002-), learned society. Member of the International Advisory Panel of the International Society for the Study of Deuterocanonical and Cognate Literature (2002-), learned society.
