The International Conference on the Deuterocanonical Books (2004-) is a gathering of international specialists on the Old Testament Apocrypha, chaired by Géza G. Xeravits.

History

A yearly series of international conferences on the Deuterocanonical and Cognate Literature was initiated by Géza G. Xeravits, secretary of the Shime'on Centre (Pápa, Hungary) in 2002. The first meeting (May 2003) was organised for Hungarian scholars, then, from 2004, for the international public. From 2009, the meetings take place at Sapientia College of Theology, Budapest.
