Biography
Estika Alkalay was born June 27, 1931 in Sarajevo, Bosnia, Yugoslavia. Fenika and Estika were the children of Moric Alkalay and Bonci Altarac. As refugees in Italy, they were at KZ Curzola Dalmazia in 1941, and KZ Vicenza (Isola di Mezzo) in 1943. After surviving in hiding until liberation, they were at DP Lecce (Santa Maria al Bagno) in November 1944.
