Biography
Eva Springer was born March 8, 1936 in Poprad, Slovakia, to Mario Springer and Elena Stielgitz. Refugees in Italy, in May 1940 they joined the Benghasi Group and went to Libya, hoping to sail to Palestine. From Lybia they were sent to Ferramonti in September 1940 and then to Orsogna (Chieti) in October 1941. After Sept 1943, they survived in hiding until liberation.
