Biography

Eta Abel was born October 13, 1929 [not Oct 12, 1925] in Hungary (?), to Jewish-Romanian parents, Edmund Abel and Charlotte Hirsch. Listed as a "student", she arrived in Switzerland aboard the Kastner Train in December 1944, after spending some months in Bergen-Belsen.
