Enoch and the Messiah Son of Man: Revisiting the Book of Parables (2007) is a volume edited by Gabriele Boccaccini.

Abstract

The proceedings of the Third Enoch Seminar (Camaldoli 2005) are entirely devoted to the Book of Parables in light of Second Temple Judaism and Christian origins. This third collection of essays contains the observations and contemplations of forty-four scholars, opening with an essay by George W.E. Nickelsburg on the text of the Parables and ending with likely prospects for future research by Paolo Sacchi. In spite of the presence of different interpretations, the overwhelming conclusion of the contributors is that the Parables of Enoch is a Second Temple Jewish text, which directly influenced the origins of the Jesus movement. The volume includes an introduction by Gabriele Boccaccini detailing the history of the Enoch Seminar, and extensive bibliography compiled by associate editor Jason von Ehrenkrook for further study.
