Biography
In 2002 Jason von Ehrenkrook entered the Graduate Program "Jews and Christians in the Greco-Roman World" in the Department of Near Eastern Studies at the University of Michigan. He successfully defended his PhD under the mentorship of Gabriele Boccaccini in 2009 and spent the next academic year as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow (2009-2010) with the Frankel Institute for Advanced Judaic Studies. From 2010 to 2014 he was the Perlow Lecturer in Classical Judaism in the Department of Religious Studies at the University of Pittsburgh. He transitioned to the University of Massachusetts Boston in the Fall of 2014 where he now holds the position of Assistant Professor of Religious Studies in the Department of Classics and Religious Studies.
