Edith Pressburger (F / Slovakia, 1928), Holocaust survivor

Biography

Edith Pressburger (Trnava, Slovakia, Sep 19, 1928) was the daughter of Sigmund Pressburger and Janka Weiss. With their mother she was among the passengers of the Pentcho Ship. They arrived at KZ Rhodes on October 18-19, 1940. After spending one year as refugees at Rhodes, they were then sent to Ferramonti on February 12, 1942, where they remained until liberation (Sept 1943). In July 1944 Edith and her mother emigrated to Palestine.
