<bibexternal title="Archivorum Veteris Testamenti " author="Sgambati"/>
Archivorum Veteris Testamenti (1703) is a book by Scipione Sgambati.
Abstract
The encyclopedic collection by Sgambati includes both canonical and non-canonical documents attributed to ancient Biblical characters, covering the Biblical and Second Temple periods, from Adam to Jewish-Hellenistic authors. There are also the Enoch Fragments of Syncellus (Greek text & Latin translation).
Fabricius cites the work as one of the major sources of inspiration for his collection of OT Pseudepigrapha (1713)
Sgambati claims that the "Egregori" were indeed angels, not "sons of Seth" or "powerful people". Publishes the Fragment of Synchellus, both in the original Grrek and in Latin translation.
Editions
