Samson and the Lion (1800) is a sculpture by Mikhail Kozlovsky.

Abstract

The bronze statue is at the center of the main monumental fountain in the park of the Peterhof Palace. The original was destroyed by the invading Germans during World War II and replaced in 1947 by a replica.
