Samson and the Lion [1] [2] (1800) is a sculpture by Mikhail Kozlovsky.

Abstract

The bronze statue is at the center of the main monumental fountain in the park of the Peterhof Palace. The original [1] was destroyed by the invading Germans during World War II and replaced in 1947 by a replica [2].
