The University of Michigan (Ann Arbor, MI) is an American University, founded in 1817.
History
Founded in 1817 at Detroit, moved to Ann Arbor in 1837.

In 1985 the University of Michigan hosted at Ann Arbor an international symposium on the Historical Jesus; see Jesus in History and Myth (1986 Hoffmann/Larue), edited volume.
In 2001 the University of Michigan launched the Enoch Seminar and hosted the first Meeting in its campus in Florence, Italy.
In 2006 the University of Michigan hosted at Ann Arbor the First Enoch Graduate Seminar.
