Rabbel II Soter was a Nabatean King, from 70 to 106 CE.

Overview

Rabbel II succeeded his father Malichus II, when he was still a child. At his death in 106 CE, the Nabatean kingdom was peacefully absorbed by Emperor Trajan into the Roman Empire, with the creation of the new province of Arabia Petrea.
