Branko Gavrin (M / Croatia, 1935), Holocaust survivor

Biography

Davon Gavrin (24 Feb 33) and Branko Gavrin (1 Nov 35) were born in Zagreb, Croatia, to Ivo Gavrin and Mira Weiss Gavrin. Mother and children fled to Dalmatia where they were detained in Susak (1941-42). They were then confined in Aprica, Sondrio (1942-43). In September 1943 they manage to cross the border to Switzerland.
