Shaul Bekierman / Sidney Baker (M / Poland, 1927), Holocaust survivor

Biography

Shaul (Paul) Bekierman was born in 1927 in Chmielnik, Poland, one of the four children of Ksil Bekierman and Bluma Morowicz. He was the only of his family to survive.

He was deported to Buchenwald, and Theresienstadt, where he was liberated in May 1945.

He arrived in England with the Windermere Children in August 1945. He later settled in Edmonton, Canada.
