Yankel Bart (M / Poland, 1929), Holocaust survivor

Biography

Auspitz was born September 2, 1929 in Lodz, Poland.

He was forced to live in the Lodz Ghetto before being deported in July 1944 to Auschwitz and then Braunschweig, Ravensbruck, Ludwigslust, Wobbelin.

After liberation, he was hosted at the DP Belsen-Hohne.

He was one of the Southampton Children, arriving in England in late October 1945. In 1948 he moved to Israel and later, in 1964 to Australia.
