The Road to Masada (1994) is a novel by Roger Elwood.

Abstract

Pontius Pilate, his wife, and Roman legionaries attend Jesus' crucifixion and become involved with the conquering of Masada. Spanning a period of 40 years, the novel focuses on the violence and oppression of Roman rule in Palestine.

"Imagine the impact Jesus would have made on your life had you actually met Him face to face. Spanning a period of 40 years, this novel weaves a tale around familiar names from Scripture, beginning at Christ's death, through the violently oppressive reigns of cruel and godless Roman emperors, to the dramatic conclusion at the battle of Masada."--Publisher description.
