  • MEMOIRS : The Children Accuse (1946), 131-134

Biography

Rena Kant was born January 6, 1932 in Brzana (near Stroze), Poland. Daughter of Izrael and Gizela Zahler. When the Jedlicze Ghetto was liquidated in August 1932, she was in the run. Eventually, she hid three years with an elderly couple.

"To be safe, I did not leave the house. When a visitor came, I hid under the bed ... I helped them a bit with the housework and the people shared their food with me."
